Is this a 4 Cylinder or 6 Cylinder?
Did you verify the TACH wire with a Meter?
Where did you connect the Starter wire from Remote Start?
Do you have a Check Engine Light ON?

How did you make the connection at the BLUE wire ? With solder & tape ? Also, you can try to use an injector wire as well that will give the Compustar a different source for tach. Use any of the injector wires that are uncommon in color.

I really appreciate all of you guys help. Its my first installation and I actually surprised myself that this was the only REAL problem i had. The night i finished installing it i went to roll up my windows and the only one that worked was the driver so i stayed up untill about 4am checking everything and come to find out that the window lock was on......2002 Honda Accord alarm/remote start - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

It is a 4 cylinder and i have the yellow and black of the remote starter wire on the key side and the yellow on the starter side. My check engine light is not on. I tried to test it with my DMM but i dont think it goes down that low. Maybe  just did it wrong.

The connection right now is just with tape, no solder, i wanted to make sure that everything worked before i made any solid connections since it was my first time doing this. Where are the injectors located on my engine?? Dont they all have two wires? One that is the same color on all of them then one that is differnet?

Yes, there are 2 wires on the injectors and you can use any of the 4 injectors and use the one wire that is uncommon between the pairs as your tach wire.

Now when i had the tach hooked up in the original position behind the battery and i pressed the button on the brain to "learn" the tach, the brain accepted it by chirping once and flashing lights once. Which kinda makes me think its not the tach? Any ideas of what else could be doing this? I know what an injector looks like but where are they around the engine? any common place visible to the eye?

So I hooked up the Tach on one of the injector wires and it did the same thing. I dont think it is the tach. The car is starting fine on the first try it just trys once more and grinds then runs real rough. It seems like everything would be kosher if the engine didnt attempt to start once more after started. I checked all my connections and they are fine. I tried switching the ignition wires and same thing,i dont know whats going on.......Maybe if someone could tell me where each wire goes on CN1 then i can check and see if i made a wrong connection somehwhere. Thats what it seems like, but i dont know. Will anyone be willing to do that for me? ill list how i have it connected now.

Car                                              Alarm

12v - White -------------               Pin#1 12v constant

Starter - BLACK/ White ---------    Pin# 6 Starter relay - Yellow/black on keyside and yellow opn starter side.

Ignition 1 - BLACK / YELLOW --------Pin#7 - Green --Ignition

Second Ignition Yellow -----     Pin#3 connected to Blue wire from relay with purple pigtail

Accesory WHITE/ Black---------- Pin#4 Accesory

On CN2 Pin2 for bypass is working and Pin3 is conencted to purple pigtail.

Is this correct? Please help.

Thanks
