Anyone have or have used this amp? I will be attempting to power 2 12" JL W3v3's. I am pushing about 460RMS to them now. Would it make a big diff to push the 600 they ask for ?
Thanks

I don't have any experience with that amp or the jbl line of amps, however a jump of 140 watts is not going to be noticeable.

I think JBL makes a great amp. The power increase wont help output much, but it will sound great.

The jump from 460W to 600W is about a 30% increase in power, now doubling your power gives you a 3db increase, so upping the power would maybe give you an extra db, JBL make great quality amps though

One reason that the notice won't be very noticable is that most people will turn there bass boast up on the underpowering amp to try to get a little more out of it. By adding the extra wattage you will just notice that you shouldn't need as much bass boast to get the same amount of bass. I HIGHLY advise that use as little amount of bass boast as possible...
If your counting pennies and dimes then maybe you shouldn't be spending every penny and dime you have!!

The JBL should sound a lot better than that Kenwood.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

That amp only does 460 watts rms bridged and you have 2 w3's. So from 230watts a piece to 300 a piece will make a little difference but the sound quality will be much better.
