ok i just got everything wired up...my car is a 88 honda crx
i'm running a alpine CDA 7892 deck
Bazooka ELA 300 mono amp powering one JL 10w3v2d2..rite now i have the sub enclosed and wired in series at 4 ohms like JL recommended. i know the amp has RMS of 300 watts which is the subs specs.
how would u guys suggest running the bass boost, gain, x-over? during break in time.
i'm still breaking in the sub and rite now i kinda just left bass boost, gain halfway...but i'm only listening to the radio at volume 5 and not higher then 10. i know u gotta play with the settings a little but how would u guys suggest to set it and stuff? how do i determine whats rite?

rca's normally have two plugs. a red and a white. Connect those to the rca input.
Well your amp is only gonna be putting out about 150 watts rms to that sub.
Tuning? Normally i just keep everything at 0 and turn my deck up a little less than 2/3 way. (I like it loud). After that i just slowly turn the settings up and just play it by ear until i like how it sounds.

That amp is rated at 300 rms at 2 ohms. With your dual 2 ohms VC's the only safe way to wire it would be in series for a final 4 ohm load. That amp puts out 150 rms at 4 ohms.
Is there any way you could return that sub for a dual 4 ohm model?
