Hope you guys can help.

Here is my situation, I have undercar neons, strobe lights, and neons under my dash. I ran 1 18ga.  (or 16ga. not sure) to a 4 rocker switch panel (they light up when the switch is on).

switch one--undercar neon

switch two--strobe lights

switch three--underdash neons

switch four--vacant

So i have that one power (with a fuse) and one ground cable feeding all the switches.  Each object is grounded to the chassis.

Is this the correct way to go about doing this or should I place a relay in the middle of all this.  Also I have two leds that light up when the car is off.

I'm planning to add more leds and neon in the future, so can i run a larger gauge cable to a certain spot in the car and branch of off that or do i take power from the nearest sourse.

Let me know what is the best way to go about setting this up correctly or if you have any opinions or if there is a standard that is usually followed.

Thanks again in advance.

If the switch is capable of handlng 15-20 amps each then there shouldn't be a problem and you shouldn' t worry about using relays.  If the switches are not meant to handle that type of load then you should definately use a relay for each individual switch. If the switches are a heavy duty switcht that can handle the power needed then the only thing I would recommend is that you use either a larger gauge wire or four seperate wires to run the switch.  If the wire isn't big enough to handle the load that the lights are using it could become a fire hazard.  I would also fuse each individual switch that way if one of the lights power wires shorts out or the light blows it would not disable every other thing being ran of off the other switches.
