my trunk button could be programmed as a pulse, or constant output if the button is held in. I wanted to do the same thing with my truck, i wired up my KC lights up to the trunk button on my remote. Now instead of "path" illumination when i walk up to it, I can light up the entire street with a push of a button on my remote....

i changed my trunk output to a constant when held in, and wired a relay with negative input to positive output..

I have a 5th channel output and now want to put someone else on my truck that i can remotely turn on with a relay...this site is addictive...haha..thanks to all for all the info everyone

Cool diagram .. i thought that there is no way to do it with only one channel . You poved me wrong ....

Is there any way in which you can modify this circuit to get driver door priority even if you don't have the feature in your alarm .?
