Hi out there. I was wondering if there is any replacement lcd remote that will work on my galaxy 5000RS alarm, that will not go to sleep so i wont have to push a button to see the status of the alarm.

They all go to sleep to save the battery. As far as I know all brands do the same.

well what i wanted is for the lcd remote to show armed , when the alarm goes to passive arm it does not show on my lcd remote i have to push a button in order to see if it armed.   like my wifes python alarm. my galaxy alarm only shows the time it does not have the little lock symbol or the antenna symbol. my bad as to install a galaxy alarm i have had a few problems with it.

If you have a Galaxy alarm that actually works, be happy! Myself and 3 guys I know in town have all owned Galaxy alarms, they either didnt work properly or decided to freak out a few months after being installed!! Good luck, hopefully yours will work properly.

I've had  my Galaxy 500rs for about two years now with no problems, and my remotes all say armed, or disarmed all the time, I don't have to confirm status.
