Subwoofers don't sound right

i finially got my system hooked up...i have 2 12" mofo subwoofer hooked up to a 3000 watt amp..and it just does not sound good...when i turn the bass knab more then have way up the bass does not increase..i'm not sure why it sounds soo crapy all the reviews are good..

I never really saw a good review on that gear, but its quite possible that you have the positive and negative reversed on one of the drivers. Try disconecting one of the subs and see if the volume increases.

mofo subs are power accoustic and a true 3000 watts will start them on fire. you get what you buy a china woofer or tialand.

well the whole system is power accoustic...even the 3000 watt amp..and i have herd the exact same system and they sound really really good thats how i know something is wrong with mine..

ok look at this picture, do you see where they connect the plus to the negitve on the subwoofer...should i use a plus or negitive wire to connect them..?

for this said 3000 watt amplifier, are you providing the proper voltage and current it will demand....what type of fuses does the amp have, and what type of alternator, battery and other upgrades do you have to power it?

well i the car has a brand new alternator and i just put a brand new battery in there....im also putting in a cap if that would help at all...
