Hi guys,

I own a Nissan Sunny GTI, 1993. It has two front electric windows and a tilt and slide electric sunrroof.

I want some advice on how to install the total closure unit so that it will work on the sunroof. The sunroof tilt closure will not operate if it has been slid open or conversley the slide motor will not work if it has been tilted open.

I have installed a totla closure unit twice but only for a two and four door car with no sun roof. Adivce please?

Also does anyone know where i can get good strong trunk release solenoid. The ones that i purchased on ebay are not strong enough for my car..and pointers to where i can get them would be great.

god bless you all

I've heard of people using magnetic switches to control closure systems.  I've also personally used microprocessor based circuits to determine the exact location of the sunroof at any given time.  The tilt function definately adds a degree of complexity to the system.

Good luck.
