i jus bought a 2002 chevy s-10 extreme non extended cab and i have 2 powerbass pbc-1210ds subs in prefab truck boxes (.88cu ft per box) being pushed by an older pioneer gm-5100t 380w rms x1 @ 4 ohms and and ive heard the 10" version of those subs pushed by the same amp but in a bigger box and it hit really good and my roomate has the 2 ten versions in a ported box and it hits even better same amp also now if i built a box ported but the ports firing up behind the seats would it hit even better cause the subs right now are right against the seat so i think the seats are muffling the subs and the boxes arent big enough but my point is has any1 built a good ported box for non extented cab s-10 for two twelve's before and hit really good

I can't see getting two 12's or even two 10's in a ported box in that truck. Unless you have a lot more room than I remember for a s-10.

Take out one sub and use it as a doorstop at home for now. Build a proper ported box for the other sub. Fire the port out the bottom side of the box and into a corner of the cab.
