One thing about DEI tech support....you could call back and speak to a different tech and get a totally different answer.
I find it weird that DEI eliminated a feature of their alarms that they had for years.
I still think the blue multiplexed input is not getting ground when you use the trunk release. In your post at Carsound others seem to agree as well.
In the end, disarming the alarm before opening the trunk is not a big deal. I wouldn't worry about it if the install is all done and everything is put back together.

I actually figured it out.......it wasn't getting a full ground, and the bypasskit i'm using grabs the dome light trigger instead of the door pin trigger which is also causing the issue because of the trunk light. I need to grab all 4 door triggers and diode isolate them but i can't find the wires.... If i can find all 4 door pin triggers i can fix it and have everything working the way it should.... Anyone know exactly where the door pin triggers are in a 2006 acura TL?

if my memory serves me, the door triggers are locate behind the fuse box, two diff harness. the box is held by 2 10mm bolts.
