I'm installing a 5204 in a 06 Scion XA. I'm getting a 19 flash error. I'm a bit confused, the book only has codes listed to 17 falshes???AstroStart 5204, 19 flash error -- posted image. 

What the frik is a 19 error?     ANYONE?

ALL fuses check on both sides of the fuse holders, acc, ign. and starter all have power. No imobilizer is needed. Locks work, lights work, door triggers work. I have checked all that I can think of....I look like a fool to my kid.AstroStart 5204, 19 flash error -- posted image.

Yes, traded out the 5204 brain for a 3106 (non 2 way) relearned tach. same error comes up. Deactivated the alarm function to make it a remote start only....same error. pickin the car up from my kid tomorrow and callin tech.

F.Y.I.   19 flashes = unit is in manual transmission mode. Program for auto trans required.

Page 15 of the install manual.  JUST NOT MY MANUAL, I GOT ONE OF THE OLD ONES.

dipswitches 4,5,6,7 all in the up position to program it for an automatic transmission. All of the newer Astrostarts come preprogrammed as a manual RS.

oh yeah, for the others that might be reading this. All of those switches in the up position, hit the brake, then put all in the off position, then hit the brake again.
