Pioneer DEH-P860MP is it a good deck?

  is this a good deck or should i go with an eclipse 8455???? which is better? i have a premier 770mp that its replacing and i have never had anything other than pioneer or older alpines in the past so some input would be appreciated from owners of both.

bothe are very good units i price is about the same for both  go with the eclipse if its a lot more go with the pioneer

bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english

i havent used either unit
but i have heard many many good things about the premiere unit

Go with the Eclipse if your going to be running a full amplified system. The Pioneers have an inherent ground plane problem and it becomes more evident in vehicles with poor ground planes and when you add more than 1 amplifier into the system.

i've been installing pioneers for yeare and thay have ben the most reliable radio ive ever seen.  now we did have a proplem with the dehp80mp's ground on the rca out put going bad hah about 15 out of 40 other than that flawless. maybe canada has different sulplier? slill go with the eclipse if the money is right
