Whats up everyone, here's the problem. I have a 98 civic ex that i just got 18's for, i put them on and when i drive it the tire rub on the fenders(not inside under but on the rim of the fender). Can i use coil over springs to adjust the height to make it higher or what can i do. All help is appreciated

get smaller rims. I bet 18s look pretty redivulous on it.

You can put coilovers on and it should work just fine. Or you could put a air ride system on it to give you the adjustment. Or if you dont want to do that you could see about geting your fenders rolled.

Just a few ideas i hope that this helps you. post some pics so we can see what it looks like.

There shouldn't be a problem with the 18's fitting on this Civic unless you went with a tire size greater than 215/35ZR/18 ?

What are the exact measurements of the wheels?   18 by what, and what is the offset. And what size tire did you use?

Those won't fit. 235 is too wide and you will not be able to turn very far before the rims starts rubbing the innder fender guard. As well, your speedo will be out by quite a bit because of this size tire.

They are still TOO tall.....they are the wrong size.  AND what are the wheel measurments? If they rub AT ALL....they are the incorrect size, it's that simple.
