I need help with remote start on the Aladdin alarm.  The car starts fine, but the problem I have is that after a while the car turns off.  The alarm thinks that the door is opened thats why the car shutted off.  During installation when I tested the remote start, everything was working fine until now.  When I arm the alarm, the door is never triggered, only with remote start.  Can anyone help me with this problem.  My car is a 99 Civic Ex Sedan Manual by the way.  Thanks.

Diode isolate the door triggers from each other with a 1N4001 1 amp diode witht he cathode band facing the triggers.

I just diode isolated the door triggers with a 1 amp diode from radio shack and I'm still having the same problem.  What am I doing wrong?  The car still shuts off because the door is being triggered.  I hooked up the diode with the cathode end, the white line on the diode facing the door triggers on all four doors, same thing.  Could the door trigger be touching a ground somewhere?  It worked fine before when I tested it before putting everything back together.  The door never triggers when the alarm is armed.  Do I have to switch the door trigger to positive?  Right now its hooked up to the blue wire on the P10 harness to the lt. gren/red in the alarm plug.  Can someone please help me out.  Thanks.

When you say you diodes isolated the triggers with a 1 amp diode did you grab each trigger or just the one wire at the alarm plug ?

I tried disconnecting the fuses on the alarm and reinstalling them and when I did the remote went off saying that the door is triggered.  Is this normal?  Could that be my problem?
