Take your ground to the kick panal. And the "main" ground for the r/s let it stand alone, don't ground anything else with it. You can also get feedback from the 2 starter wires... Theres a trick with 2 relays....one for each starter wire. "Open" each starter wire with a relay triggered by ground while running. Each relay wired like so.Cut the starter wires, 87a gets the starter side of the start wire 30 gets the key side. 86 gets 12v fused, and 85 gets the ground while running. Now, from the remote start harness, make sure your start wires are on the starter side of the vehicles cut in half starter wire. (the relays you just wired pin 87a)
the r/s unit has one wire output for starter (purple wire). Should i use that same wire for both or should i go to the original idea and use a relay for each? Another thing is that i don't see a ground while running wire.

Those lousy DEI guys call it "status output".....translation....ground while running (under remote start conditions)

On the unit your using there should be additional outs that are used to trigger other needs. Such as, start, accs, ign,.....etc. Use one of these (labeled, STARTER output) to trigger an additional relay for your second starter.....K

Sorry for taking so long to reply, but i gave up on it for a while, but considering its starting to get cold i want to try and get the R/S running. Now I was looking at the install manual for my R/S and I finally see the second starter output (-). I just have it use it to trigger the relay.
Now should i use the main harness to from the R/S to power the primary starter wire and then the purple starter trigger (-) for the second starter relay or should i just use two relays and pretty much wire them the same using the purple starter trigger wire to trigger both relays and not use the heavy guage purple starter output wire at all?

ok well i redid and recheck all of my connections and its working for now. The fuse did pop the first few times but i found out it was because when i was checking the transponder bypass i accidently turned on the wipers so that was causing the fuse to pop. when i shut them off the car started up. the way i wired it was i used the heavy guage purple starter output wire to power on the normal starter wire then i used the aux starter trigger (- trigger) as the ground for the relay that powered on the relay for the 2nd starter wire. as i said before its working for now, i just hope it stays working.
