Well, for single 12" your looking at about 1-1.5 cubic feet for a sealed enclosure, depending on the subwoofer. Most people just buy pre-fab enclosures, but I would advise you to build a box to your subwoofers specifications. That's really the only way to get the most out of your system...

Out of the two drivers you've picked, I would go with the Eclipse, just because i've had bad expiriences with MB Quart subwoofers. But either one you pick is up to you, I dont think youll be dissapointed either way...They're both rated at 500w RMS and have a dual 4ohm impedance. So, you're going to want an amp that will do about 5-600w RMS @ 2ohms...I would go with either a Kenwood KAC-8152D or a Hifonics TXi 7506 ...Both great amps IMO....

Whatever you do, do NOT skimp on the quality and accuracy in which you build your enclosure. It will make or break the sound quality and performance you are trying so hard to get.

Another question....

Whats the difference having a Sub DVC 2ohm and a DVC 4 ohm ? Is one better than the other ? Instead of wiring it in parallel, ill wire it in series? so its the same thing ? (Its gonna be on a mono amp)

The primary difference is just that you have different wiring options.

The only reason for DVC 4 ohm and DVC 2 ohm is to give you more possible wiring configurations. Match up the amp and speaker DVC impedence options for your situation. If want to run 2 DVC subwoofers and have a 4 ohm load on a mono amp, get 2 - 4 ohm DVC subs and wire series/parallel for 4 ohms. If you want to run down to 2 ohms with 2 DVCs, run 2 - 2 ohm DVC subs wired the same. It all depends on your specific application. The 2 ohm and 4 ohm subs are the same, just depends on how you want to wire them up.

It is still going to depend on your amplifier choice.

Dual 4 ohm wiring options:

Mono amplifier

8 ohm mono load

2 ohm mono load

Stereo amplifier

8 ohms bridged = 4 ohm load per channel

4 ohm load per channel, stereo mode

2 ohms bridged = 1 ohm load per channel

Dual 2 ohm wiring options:

Mono amplifier

4 ohm mono load

1 ohm mono load

Stereo amplifier

4 ohms bridged = 2 ohm load per channel

2 ohm load per channel, stereo mode

1 ohm bridged = .5 ohm load per channel
