I have the Alpine IVA-W200 and PXA-H701 Combo, and for some reason when I play a DVD I get absolutely no sound out of my component tweeters. The thing is, with CD's, or Sirius, sounds come out fine (actually awesome) from all my speakers, its just with DVD's. Any insight on this?

Thank you

Try going from "output 1" to "output 2" on the PXA-H701.

On the RCA's output to the amps?

Well I figured out that I had the rear inputs to the amps in the front ouput off the processor, so now I at least get sound out of my tweeters, but its very low. I think I just need some time to fully tune them.

I have another question for you, not sure if you deal with Zapco or not, but I have 2 of their DC Reference Series amps, which are the digital ones, they have built in x-overs, eq's, etc. Do you think I should run the x-over's and eq off the Alpine or use the Zapco?

Thanks for all your input

Two schools of thought here. My sales manager has a D-310 with the H-701 and he's a real tweek. He uses the X-overs in the 701 because he will adjust the X-over points for differant sources. Like I said, a REAL tweek. Myself, I use the X-overs on my JL amps because I think they sound better then the ones in the 701. See if you can hear a differance, if not use the ones in the 701.
