well, i finally made the decision of ultrastart 1270tl hope it wont dissappoint.

I have a 2000 maxima so will i need to purchase anything else for everything to work?

Yes you'll need to give up a spare key and get a universal transponder bypass. Such as http://bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=TBKIII or a DEI equivalent.
