I have a 06 chrysler 300 that i am doing a keyless entry keypad on and my problem is that when you lock the car with the factory remote the factory security system disables the doorlock switches after a few minutes.  Does anyone know any way that I can get around this. i have not tried to trigger the door wire yet b/c i am not sure if this will set off the alarm or not. I HAVE tried to use a 556cw but can't get it to program right.

thanks for any help

if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway

the only notes on the locks are for the resistor values needed but i wonder if 2 opinions that could possibly work.

1) test the wires coming from the keypad to see if any of them output a 12 volt prior to the entire code being entered. back in the day i had a problem with a taurus and its factory alarm disarm wire. what i did was on the aftermarket alarm i used the factory disarm output to trigger a relay to throw a 12volt to the ignition wire which would "wake up" the BCM a second prior to the unlock wire being energized. it worked like a charm. that is pretty simple IF your unit has a wire that energizes before the unlock wire activates.

2) the tech sheet lists a 5 wire system for the actual lock/unlock motors. if that is the case you should be able to do a regular 5 wire setup with 2 relays and activate it that way. again all of this is in theory but it would be worth trying these 2 options if you have a couple of hours free one day.

good luck and hope this helps.
