amplifier for 300rms sub

what kind of subwoofer would you recommend for a single 300w rms cvr104 4ohm sub? i sold this speaker to a friend and dont know what agood amp would be for a low price?

i cant really find a 2 channel 300watt kicker amp did you mean the mono one?

Um...that Alpine would only push 220 watts to it...his sub is a single 4 ohm coil.

A Diamond D3600.1 would work great for that as well.

Yes, that's just about right for a 300 RMS woofer.

thanks for the responses. the cvr104 is dual voice coil speaker, that means i can wire it so that the amp recieves a 2ohm load, righT?

Yes...I'm just not a fan of pushing amps to their limits
But...yes he would be able to add another sub in the future
