The vehicle requires the ACC to fall out before the starter will crank & the 556UW will do that for you. It's a pretty basic installation other than this.

Hey jeff i never bypass a passkey 3 or used a 556u, so is there any tips and trick on what to do. i use the resistor and realy trick to bypass my vats on my monte but i know i have to use the 556u for sure and jsut wondering any thing i should look at. also it the key wires going to be in an orange jacket or what?? Also i read that if i need a wireing diagram that is not in the database just to post for it but i dont wanna have to make a post just for the diagram so hopefully someone can post a diagram for a 05 pontiac g6 base model. thanks a million
p.s. so aslo as all the acc fall right behind the starter wire to the 556u i will be fine right

no key wires, you need a programmed key( one that will start the car) to place in the 556u, and then you wrap the wring around the ignition switch, this will generate the siganl when relote started so that car sees key transponder
also car has a strange 2nd ign/keysense starter setup, starter wire from remote is not needed car cranks when it senses ignition&acc on then acc drop with proper resistance on WHITE/ white blk wires car will crank, it is a pretty wild system, and most gms have no required starter wires anymore just sees acc drop then it cransk but some have this resistance requirement

start the car with key then cut the white or WHITE/ blue wire, measure resistance between the key side of cut to the WHITE/ blk or WHITE/ yellow wire while cranking( car has anti grind so nothing bad will happen)then wire up 2 relays as follows
relay#1 pin 85 to ground when running on remote start
pin 86 to ignition power with diode in line strip ffacing relay
pin30 to bcm side of cut wire
pin 87a to ignition side of cut wire
pin 87 to pin 30 of 2nd relay

2nd realy cont.
pin 85 to ground when running
pin 86 to starter output wire from remote starter
pin 87 put resistor needed in line then hook to WHITE/ blk or WHITE/ yellow wire
pin 87a goes to same WHITE/ blk wire after resistor from pin 87
