Stinger SP2150 battery wont charge?

Ok i bought a stinger sp2150 deep cycle battery used...I put it in my car and charged it with a generator, nothing...then i put my old battery in, started the car and swapped batteries and drove for 15min...nothing...the battery stays at 5v and wont charge...what am i doing wrong...dead battery?

Something is _ed up...did you not test the battery with a meter before you bought it???

i can get my money back...local and i know where he works/lives...im sure he will give me my money back but i want this battery...last resort is to give it back

I'd return it...It is probably damaged...either to deeply cycled or I dunno...But save up and get a brand new battery...that way you know there is a warranty

First thing I thought of was the battery had been near-completely discharged, and it's a good bet the thing is fubar'd. If he doesn't give you your money back, drop the battery on his head and then take the money back. He'll understand Stinger SP2150 battery wont charge? -- posted image.

::updated:: So  i got a battery charger and left it on for a night....the batter charged! and it held charge....just a heads up....thanks for all input
