I would like to build a bank of 6 relays that would all tie into a dedicated fused power source.
This bank would control accesories such as lights, small on board air compressors and other nifty devices that do not draw more than 15 AMPS.
This bank of relays would become a central location to attach your accesories to.
Does anyone make a socket set-up like this? I can daisy chain the common leads such as the main power and grounds.
Any suggestions...
Oh, the catch is, I would like to use off the shelf Bosch type relays!
-Thanks
John

You can but pre-wires harnesses that can be attached to each other if you want. Not sure about a specific board out there but I'm sure if you google search this you can find out.

I am working on something like that.  It has 8 relays but it is limited to 10amps.

Got some information on my web site. https://ill-logix.com

ill-logix,
Thanks...we are getting closer! I would like something like that but without logic. These would be in the engine compartment for attaching lights and stuff to it so the average joe can just plug his leads right to the spade terminals on my relay strip.
Also, by using the standard automotive relay, the average joe can stop at their local auto parts store for a replacement.
I will have some scematics next week to illustrate what I'm looking for.

Use DEI 525T relays, they are standard Bosch type 30a's and can be connected to each other so you can put together as many as you need.

Good call with the DEI's, I think thats exactly what you are looking for...inexpensive and readily available.

However, those are not water resistant in any way, a concern if mounting under the hood. What I would suggest is make sure all the relays/sockets are mounted with relays up..and perhaps some clear silicone into the socket terminals and around the edges of the relay to keep moisture out.

Or mount them inside if theres room, it's up to you but although they are cheap to replace it's an inconvenience if something goes out and you are not near a relay store.

Best of luck with it.

You can buy waterproof Bosch style relays that will plug in to the stackable harnesses.  I have ~100 waterproof relays sitting around  :)
