What, is no one taking the temperature into account on how it will affect the resistance of the resistor?
I am just playing.
Can it be done without relays, sure. Simplified, just get the relays.

Ha Ha, I live in south florida, average interior temperature 2-3000 degrees, no problems with resistors yet but the interior will burn the flesh clean off upon contact. Anyhow it is easy to say "just get the relays" but the poor guy thought he was stupid but actually he has some vision and was just making sure it would work. Guess he could see no reason why it wouldn't and hopefully at least some of us understand why. However, for most installers I do agree to just use relays because so many can't seem to do anything without a diagram.

Jeez, now thats hot. I would worry more about my tires melting then the resistors. However, I used to live up north and I can tell you from experience I did not enjoy being in temperature that is so cold it would ruin meat. I remember once I pulled a front fender to replace a power antenna in an older GM car and a block of ice and slush hit me in the face. Never again. Now I enjoy seeing bikini babes year round as a side benefit.
