This truck is giving me a run for my money. Problem..the alarm does not lock/unlock the doors all the time. It's to the point where I still have to carry around the factory remote for the keyless entry. It only happens when the truck is not used. In order to get it to work, I have to pop the truck window and then it works again.

Does anyone have this same problem, or is it just a bad alarm?

NowYaKnow described why the doors aren't unlocking in his post at the end of page one. You need to shut off the "sleepy locks" in the truck. Read the vehicles owners manual, it tells you how to do it.
