Hello all...
Once again I am running into a basic question that I cannot find the direct answer to on the internet. My mom just recently bought herself a used 2000 Honda Passport and had me purchase a remote start unit for her. I cannot for the life of me figure out what type of antitheft / immobilizer system is used in this vehicle. I've looked at DEI's line up of anti theft system bypasses but their aren't any that mention being used on a 2000 Honda
I've browsed all through this website but still nothing. They don't even list a Passport in their reference tables.
The key is the type of key that would have a transponder in it but I cannot find any concrete information regarding this... Anyone ever do a remote start install in a Passport or does anyone know what type of bypass I need to use, if any at all?

Well it all installed and working except the fact that I can't find a disarm wire for the factory alarm. I've browsed through 3 different wiring diagrams and they all say a Yellow/Blue wire I've found no yellow/blue wire that disarms the factory alarm.
I didn't need to use the factory alarm button because the wire I tied my - lock wire into locks the doors and activates the factory alarm. When I use the Viper remote the doors unlock and disarms the viper alarm but the factory alarm triggers. I have to use the factory transmitter to disarm the factory alarm.
Can anyone tell me where I can find the factory disarm wire. I would like to find an unlock wire that functions like the lock wire does.
Thanks
