I am working on creating a circuit that uses the Alarm/Disarm outputs on my DEI Viper 791xv, what I am wanting to know is if anyone knows how much current the output is capable of sinking.
I am currently looking at needing to sink a max of about 1mA so it isn't any huge amount of current. I'm assuming that these outputs are rated the same as the other low power outputs which is about 200mA, so I should be OK, but I am looking to see if anyone knows the actual specs.
Thankx
Conrad

Well, never mind. I reread the manual in a little more detail and it mentions being able to use the output to power a relay if you needed to switch it to a positive signal instead of a negative signal. So if it is capable of powering a relay then it has more than enough sinking capability for what I am needing it for.
