I just put a Clifford matrix responder 3.5 into a 2006 dodge ram, with a 556u bypass. The alarm function works fine. The RS doesn't. I put in the relays for acc/2nd start. I programmed tach. When you hit the button to start, there is no acknowledgment on the remote, but when you set alarm, the remote confirms. The truck arms/disarms fine, just doesn't start, no crank, nothing. I tested every wire, everything is hooked up correctly. Any ideas?

Make sure that the Neutral Safety check wire is connected properly, and that your hood pin wire is not grounded.

Checked both of those, I have not hooked up the hood switch, so that's not grounded. The neutral safety wire, meaning the kill switch?

Is the remote starter powering up the accessory/ignition wires? Is it just not powering up the starter wires? Where did you go for power? Explain what exactly the truck does/doesn't do when attempting to remote start.
Shaun, we are the same height, that is neat!

He means the BLACK/ white wire on plug H3. It must be grounded for the RS to do anything at all....
