AVIC-N2 power, no video/sound

Have power, blue lights , LCD flips up, no sound and video. Tried hard reset, etc.? anyone have any ideas? Could it be the ribbon cable?

It might be the ribbon cable but if it were you should still be able to get audio unless of course you couldn't see what source you were on.AVIC-N2 power, no video/sound -- posted image.

Thanks for the reply.  I had audio and video and button controlls. First the button controlss stopped, but i had audio and video, then the video went but had audio, then audio went. Still have power.

Any thoughts?

That is definitely a ribbon cable problem

I will be happy to get you the part number so you can order one   but the last 2 guys here that tried to fix theirs broke a switch while taking it apart.

Great, I alrady took apart and found the ribbon cable to be easily removed, I did see a slight pinch in the cable. I definetely woud appreicate the part number.

Pioneer has a recall on the flex cable for the Avic N1 and N2. Here is the link
