Does anyone know what kind of hard drive in the Z1?

I was thinking, i dont know if anyone has tried this, but if the hard drive is a laptop drive, would it be possible to remove the drive, connect it to a computer, and just upload your files directly?

What if i were to copy the drive onto say a 100 gb drive, and try and run that? I see no reason why it wouldnt work unless the software would glitch out (like how WIndows ME was unstable at very large hard drives)

BTW...another ok forum (not quite 12volt good, but not bad) for the AVIC series is www.AVIC411.com
