Polk MOMO are pretty good for $100 a piece.  Just remember, you get what you pay for.  I am not saying that you should spend $500 per sub (because I don't either), but don't expect $500 results with $100 subs.

By the way, Crutchfield has a Buy One Get One Free on Infinity Kappa Perfects right now.  $179.99 shipped for 2 VERY nice subs.

you can have cheap, or you can have good, but you can't have both.Cheap good quality subs -- posted image.  alot of times, local audio shops and even some of the big box stores run the buy one get one free deal. you can get some decent quality at a decent price doing that. as mentioned, don't expect $500 sub sound from a $100 sub.

Yes, I agree on the Reference line too.  I had 2 12" reference in my truck and bought 2 12" kappa perfect for my new car.  They are coming tomorrow with the Infinity 611A amp to power them.  I can't wait.  The Reference are definately a great sub for the $100

I second the perfects and its a good price on two from crutchfield. Great sounding subs and hard to beat at that price.

To be totally honest....To quote Bose. The speaker itself does not have to be "THE BEST"

If you look at a Bose speaker, whether it be home or car, it really aint much to look at. Its all in the enclosure. Bose makes the best by far. My shop installed two Boston Rally 12" subs. The air space sealed were 1.7 per sub. The Camaro box we used was 1.7 per. exactly. I believe, retail on the were $ 35.00.  So get something you can afford and build (or have someone build) a box for the peramaters (pardon my spelling) of the speaker.
