Hey everyone, my friends got a 1998 Acura RL and wants remote start on it. The wiring diagram I got from here does not state anything about a bypass module, but the wiring diagram from bulldog says I do. So I'm not sure if I need to buy one. It seems like DEI has one for this car, but it could be a universal one, which I do not like.
I'm recommending Valet/DEI to my friend as a good brand to shoot for. Crimestopper is great on their remote range. I do hate the buttons on their remotes, as they are not flush. Can anyone else recommend other brands and maybe also a site that I can get them at a cheap price too?
Thanks.

you can try a ppkh1 or an xk05 both are not considered universal and neither requires consumption of a key...

you can get audiovox or ultastarts on ebay pretty cheap i dont know where youll find the bypass for cheap....but sixty bucks aint bad if you ask me....
