with shallow wave subs , you have to have a sealed box when you go that small otherwise it wont work correctly.

if you go to earthquake audio's website they have a blueprint of how to make a shallow wave box that small  or you can send me a message

all my info is on my site xtremeimage.net

There are lots of good quality subs on th market that only take .6 cubes of space to work. I have done a few installs with shallow mount subs and within two months the customers came back complaining that they herd better sound from other subs that weren't shallow mounts. Look at your options before you buy these subs. Just make sure you  like what you hear and listen to other subs before spending your money on these. Good luck.

I have last years Pioneer shallow in my wifes Excursion rear door with about .9cf. Driven by a Pioneer Premier 7150. It impressed me so much I am putting a complete Premier system in my Vette. I am very happy with it. It sounds good and hits hard.

I have also used them in a 2 12" box in the back of a single cab dakota sport and they sounded great.... since they are thin i suggest making the box a little longer if you can and getting it up to about 1cubic foot... it will blow your mind at the performance...

I dont care about who has the bigger name in the business... The Bigger the name the Bigger the price. NO BETTER QUALITY!!!
