I answered that on the other post azn using ohms law....over 3000watts RMS at 4 ohms..over 6000w @ 2 ohms....12000 watts @ 1ohm @60hz..nah that wouldn't blow a speaker...lol

Still...master I'm lazy lol
I still can't believe how that sub survived that long on over 3000 watts rms in free air...I mean it was reaching xmax and wasn't making a whole lot of mechanical noise either...

I know it's amazing how so many woofers today can handle that free air. I did it with a new out of the box punch p2 and it lasted like a minute but it was jumping like a flounder out of water.  but do it with like a stock 6.5 and.....ka POW!!!   I love it...lol

I also want to try it one day with a good sub in a ported enclosure..that would have to be loud as heck...3120 watts rms @60 cycles..thats insane.

oh if you want to figure it out just use the ohms law formula P=E2/R

E=110 x 110 which is 12,100... that is always the same for this case

R= ohms load

So @ 3ohms it would be 12,100/3 = 4033.33watts @60hz.....lol

It lasted a minute?  thats pretty darn good
