Actually thats wrong, they are selling through distributors at cheap prices. I like the 1270tl and I have installed a lot of them, but any company that will sell refurb junk to the general public is not going to last imo. Maybe the distributor turned them away in your area but out of 3 that can sell them up here 2 have the refurb units and they don't tell you they are refurbs just "old stock", I had to call ast to find out they were refurbs.

see that is ur distributor selling you out! my distributor wont do that, when he has close outs or what not he send me fliers or calls and tells me, plus none of my distributors deal with refurbs. that is not making Ultra Start a bad co they have been around for alot of yrs and have always sold a good product and stood behind it.

the only problems with Ultra was about 2-3 yrs ago they had a batch of bad antennas but they admitted it and fixed it. the 2 ways are alittle slow but so are all the other co's 2ways...

don't forget viper/python/clifford...their units may not come out of the box manual ready, but the manual accessory is available. Autostart is really a canadian company based out of montreal....i dont know if they are big in the states? don't get me wrong i love their product and if it's available i would suggest it. autostart is VERY installer friendly.
