I was wondering if you could hook a remote start to a shave door kit with optional channels. I have a 91 chevy 1500.

Yea, just get any remote start add-on unit (they have an activation input wire which will be triggered by your optional channel on your spal remote)
If you are taking it to a shop, they know exactly what to do (they will need to know the diagram of the SPAL)
If you plan on doing this yourself, hook it up as if it was a regular remote start unit, just connect activation input to the channel output.
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

keep in mind you will only get the range of the shaved door kit remote. which may only be 15-20 feet. great for the front driveway.........crappy for the 10th floor at work.
canada's cold eh.
