As long as you have the Sentry bypass done properly, the OEM alarm will disarm through the ignition power up & Sentry bypass.

on the 05/06 Jeff I've found you need keysense hooked up as well. I just split my (-) accesory wire into two with diodes and run the second one to the keysense wire.

I just did the install, everything works fine but when locked and armed the factorty alarm goes off.

Im guess i need to hook up my ground while running wire to the key sense wire.

Is this correct?

I did an early 00s model Grand Cherokee with JUST remote start...(customer request) and I did not initially hook up the Factory Disarm Wire...and yes, it will disarm the factory alarm during remote start but it may set the alarm off for a couple of seconds before it really disables the alarm system.
