Okay, here's the scenario...
At home my setup is as follows,
2 amps, 8 speakers 4 subs and 4 loud, 1 source my computer.
basically 1 amp plays the 4 loud and the other plays the other 4 subs. with the amps sharing the signal through aux in on both. this way optimal balancing and eq can be done.
i want to do the same in my car, everything is stock
i've added and aai-chy adapter from pac audio which gives my stock radio 2 aux input channels.
aux 1 is connected to my harmon kardon drive and play system which allows me to control my ipod, with an on dash lcd and control nob.
today i purchased 2 15" subs 2000 watts each 1200 rms each, along with a 4000 watts 2 ch amp. in addition i've purchased a radio basically the problem is this.
i'm trying to power this radio which will in turn activate my amp which will in turn receive the audio signal which will in turn..... you get the point... lol
basically i want 2 independant audio systems with them sharing only to things source, and power...
once i ground the unit - power it, and connect the remote from amp... should this not work...
logically it makes sense to me, but then again if i was sure i wouldn't be asking you...
i've spent mad money on these things which was stupid i should have made sure it would work first, but surely you guys will save me from a serious cash loss...
lol...
the wiring on the radio is as follows...
rear rca
rear view camera
video out
sub-out
coaxial out
b- parking brake
b+ 12v rear camera switch
the above wiring is built into the unit.
below is the wiring harness that also connects to the unit.
rear left speaker -
rear left speaker +
rear right speaker -
rear right speaker +
front left speaker -
front left speaker +
front right speaker -
front right speaker +
front rca
video out
auto antenna
the following wires run through a fuse box also connected to the wiring harness
12 plus
12v+ memory
ground
so the question becomes how do i power this unit, and connect the remote from amp. tell me this is possible, please....

Dude, if it doesn't have a "remote" out then just pray that the "auto antenna" doesn't cut out when you slide a CD in the head unit and use it.

How to power the head unit?

12 plus = vehicles accessory positive (observe required current)

12v+ memory = a power source which never cuts out even with key off (observe required current)
ground = OEM radio ground or any steel unpainted surface which evntually conects to battery negative

What make/model/year is your ride?

As for the amp remote turn on, use the AUTO ANTENNA wire but keep this in mind:

Connect the accessory wire to a switched 12v source (usually accessory circuit).  Basically, if you want the HU on, 12v has to be fed into this wire.  This wire is usually red.

The constant power, usually yellow, need to be connected to a 15 amp fused power wire from the battery.

Ground the black (ground) wire.
