Hello,

I bought a one touch window express kit from autoloc... It only has a diagram for one window up or down... however I would just prefer 2 windows down instead of one up and one down.. so I wired everything up switch wise and it works perfect... but when I hook it up to the alarm it has 2 negative inputs.... so I spliced both wires, wraped them together and but connected it with the alarms negative input...

well it doesnt work that way.. I had to cut one of the inputs to make just one window go down... do I have to put a diode on both of the window modules inputs to get it to work?

any help will be appreciated....thanks shawn

I would diode isolate the two inputs with the cathode band facing the window switch and the anode side facing the alarm system. Use a 1N4001 1 amp diode and this should be more than enough.
