That is correct, cut the starter wire inhalf.
Butt connect the green wire (of xcrs packet)to the keyside of the starter side. And the purple wire (of xcrs packet) to the other side/starter side.
This is your antigrind when you remote start, and your starter kill when you arm your car.
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

...so when the car is disarmed, the green and purple wires are basically connected inside the xcrs, correct?
