sound system advice?

Any head unit will work with the subwoofers... Personally, I'd steer a bit clear of the Jensen stuff... Eclipse Head Units vary in price. Make sure you purchase from an authorized dealer! You could find the model you like from crutchfield or sounddomain and look at the reviews to see what others thought, but it would be better if you purchased them from a brick and mortar store so you have a face to talk to, plus eclipse will replace your Hu if stolen out of your vehicle for a year if installed by an authorized dealer.

I guess the kit you are buying at Wal-Mart and it comes with a half farad cap...don't use it
