remote start problems, 96 Explorer

hi i have a 96 Ford Explorer with a chapman CSM-2.5 remote controlled car starter and like a month ago the truck started makin a weird clicking sound and i took it to HORIZON AUDIO and they told me that a "relay was sticking"? its like the truck is trying to start when the keys are not in the ignition or when i dotn press the start button.  any ideas ?

It probably is a bad module. if it is causing problems, disconnect the module and install a new unit.

maybe there is a way i can unhook the power wire so i can bypass it ?

i have no idea how to unhook it. i got the owners manual for the remote starter.... so couldent i just unhook a power wire from the remote starter and go from there ?

You know the saying if it ain't broken...
So, what exactly is broken in your post? I don't quite know and understand what it is.

ITS THE REMOTE STARTER I GUESS  IT IS TRYIN TO START THE TRUCK AND IM NOT PRESSING ANY BUTTONS AND THE KEYS ARNT EVEN IN THE IGNITION SO I JUST WANNA UNHOOK IT CUZ I DONT EVEN USE IT.... SO IS THERE A WAY TO DO THAT AND THE TRUCK WOULD STILL WORK OR NO?

yes find the starter brain and unplug the power harness. power harness has 10-12gauge wire...

i need the wire diagram of the ignition harness and where it is located please.

the ignition harness us under the steering wheel. take off the plastic pannel below the wheel by ur shins.

12v+ PURPLE / red 15amp shold be ran to the battery

starter+  blue/white

ign+ WHITE/ orange

acc+ PURPLE / green

u dont need the keysence wire for remote start

u will also need a transponder bypass...

just pull the fuses on the 12awg red wires, before ya go cutting wires.... that'll kill any power to the unit....
