what type of router bit are you using to trim the fiberglass from the edge of the speaker baffle? Can you use this bit with an air drill?

Id use a laminate cutting bit, you can get one from a home depot or any other home supply store. As for using an air drill, i wouldnt. Most router bits spin at 22-24,000 rpm, not spinning the bit fast enough will ruin it. You can also use a grinder to take off the extra glass as well. goodluck

what I do for the insides of my speaker rings and the sides of the boxes , is use a flush cut laminate bit in my die grinder...this will allow you to get in tons of places theat you cant get with a router...but be careful not to get too much of and angle, or let it get away from ya ......installguy509
