sounds like a Polar Start 2600   made by Autostart

could also possibly be a Pro Start   also made by Autostart

What you have is a Polar Start.... The remote is a 2 button remote..  A remote from a Autostart AS1200 should work.. You can even check with Canadian Tire. Not sure what model would work. I  think the antennea on that model is just a regular coaxial plug. Where are you located in Canada?

hello

just wanted to say thanks for the advise you gave me on the car starter ps 2600     i think iam out of luck to find a remote to run it. DO you think they would be another type of starter that has same type of plug in that mine already has it would save alot of time and money from getting it re-wired.

No .. Since that unit came out Autostart has redesigned the plugs.. If I'm not mistaken the colours should still be the same.. It would be just a matter of cutting off the old plug and soldering on the new one.. but remember to pull the fuses first.. and you will have to run the new antennea. I have installed quite a few of the CT3300 from Canadian Tire and have found them very good..  I can't remember if that particular Polar Start has the second ignition relay in the unit.. You might want to look for an extra relay under the dash.. according to the wiring, your vehicle requires 2 ignition wires.. the CT3300 has the extra relay onboard.
