i have a sirius plug and play unit going into a 2006 f250 superduty and all the of the available radio stations for the wireless fm modulator can't be used. i'm curious as to what aux input interface to use with the factory radio or if there is another way to make it work. any help would be appreciated.

I havent seen any auxillary inputs for the ford radios yet. There may be one out that I dont know about but probably the best thing would be to use a wired in fm mod. On most of the new Sirius units the built in wireless fm mod signal is pretty weak but using a wired in fm mod should fix the problem and on that truck it should be pretty easy to do.

Unfortunatley the F-250 radio was programmed to not accept any input devices. That Aux button is a little misleading. You could get a radio from the F-150 and use and audio input device.

Sirius actually has a wired fm mod that they are marketing for most of the newer sirius units. The part # is FMDA25. Audiovox also makes a pretty good unit but I am not sure of the part #.

im so sick of plug and play units. i use to install them without regret but now i've had enough, especially when i try to use an aux box from pac or a stupid gm antenna adapter from metra that dont stick in far enough on gm radios. then lets pick up some engine noise from an fm mod. gee, fun!!!
"sorry customers", either go somewhere else or put in a sat radio reday head unit.

jimmy303,

Why did you post a link for the same thing I did at $30 more?

TSS radio has the absolute best price on the FRD-04

Cheers
