Autopage 860, 94 dodge ram 2500

i bought an Autopage rs-860 lcd remote start alarm today and have been installing it all just fine untill i got to the 20 pin harness. in the manual it shows 1 being WHITE/ black 2 WHITE/ violet ect ect/ but when i look at the actuall connector none of these wires are in order. they are their but not in order? are they soposed to be? should i continue to install? thanks! let me know asap please

Go by the wire color not the pin position.  You won't have any problems that way.

iv been trying to get my alarm installed and i cant get my remote start to work. im putting it in my 94 dodge ram 2500 and i got the diagram off of here for the wire colors. now i know i have the remote start wires right. 6pin H1the 2 red with fuses to pink/blackthe violet to yellowthe yellow to the dark blue (i hooked it to the thick blue wire)the pink dont usethe brown to BLACK/ orangethe 20 pin harness i haveWHITE/ black going to hood pin switch with diodeblue going to hood pin switch with diodeWHITE/ violet to WHITE/ tan on brake switchBLACK/ white wire i just have groundedgreen wire to the yellow wire at the door switchWHITE/ red wire to the grey/black wire for tach signali havent used any other wires and it still wont remote start i hit the button on the remote and it just beeps 3 timesi tryed the tach signal programing but i get to the part of it where i start the vehicle and the head lights flash but they only flash like 2 times and nothing happens when i press and hold the valet switch for 2 seconds and long chirp. thats where im stuck
