can you use the amp in your head unit to run a set of Component speakers, tweeters, and crossover or will i need another amp?

your pretty much wasting your components if your only gonna be putting approximately 20 wattsrms to each speaker from the HU.  If you want to get the full sound and volume out of your component speakers then i would suggest buying an amp that matches the speakers.

depends on the sensitivity of the speaker but for some people head unit power is enough for them
