I have never done keysense on the Explorers except for shutting down the bypass. As you are well aware, if you do not use the keysense to shut down the bypass module you can not remote start the vehicle with a key in the ignition as the two chips would conflict.

Then not hooking it up will not create a problem when the owner inserts the ign key when it is already running, correct? As for the orininal door lock issue, this vehicle seems to have the the ignition harness form the '05 and the door harness form the '06. When I called Ford and gave him the build date they said that it was close to the model year change and may have ended up with a combination of parts. Lucky me! Hope to finish tonite.

I finally finished this nightmare. None of the wire colors in the door matched. I removed the window switch to check the wiring, it was all patched together. Apparently this truck had a side impact and the bodyshop butcherd the wiring back together.
