Hi

I am trying to get a constant ground when i lock my doors on my 01 Acura CL.  I want it to be the ground when armed for my window roll up module.  Basically ive searched for wires that contain ground when i arm the factory alarm but cant seem to find one that is constant so do i have to wire a relay off the power lock wire and if so how do i wire up the relay to be ground when i press lock and not be ground when i press unlock?  Thanks in advance to anyone with any info on this matter.

Most alarms have ground when armed wires. On dei units this is a orange wire.

my car according to directech.com has no ground when armed wire.  It has a ground wire that activates the status led on the door but if i wire the orange dei wire to that wire the windows roll up like 2 inches at a time every time the led flashes.  Once the windows roll up all the way the flashing led keeps taging the window module even though the windows are already up.  I just need a way to get constant ground when i lock the doors

why don't you try using a pulse timer. DEI makes one.

If you trigger the pulse timer with your lock wire, it will provide a ground output for a programmable amount of time. more than enought ime for you to roll up the windows.

there is no factory ground when armed wire on your car.

Northstart.....or start it your damn self.

hold up....your post says you have a window mod. if  u already have a window roll up mod, then you shouldn't need anything......the mod just needs a quick neg. input and then it should roll up. A pulse from your lock wire should work fine.
