I have put an Autostart model# 1424 into a 2003 Toyota Camry. The problem is that whenever it gets cold, the vehicle won't turn over. I tried reprogramming the tach while pressing the gas to increase the RPM slightly to simulate a cold weather start. Still refuses to start. Is there maybe a 2nd starter wire needed only for cold weather start? I got the tach wire from a grey connector at the right side of the steering column. any help would be appreciated

Your car has 2 starter wires that need to be hooked up in order to allow cold weather starts especially.  Use a relay to power the second starter wire if your unit does not have a second starter output. the wires you are looking for should be a black w/white and a black w / YELLOW(thin gauge wire) I hope this helps!! Dont just jump the cars 2 starter wires together to the RS. Use a relay and do it right!!

That's the same tach wire I use. I haven't had problems, but I've heard of people in colder areas getting the occasional comeback.
And yes, the Camry certainly has two starter wires--- the thick BLACK/ white, and the thin BLACK / YELLOW.....but I don't think the car would even start at all if you didn't get both of them.

the car will start on warmer days but o cold days, that second starter wire feeds some kind of temp. sensor which i guess adjusts the fuel or the timing for cold the weather starts.

If you have a negative out during crank-

85 to 12volts

86 to negative out during crank

30 to the second start wire

87 to 12volts

If you don't have a negative out during crank-

85 to first starter wire

86 to ground

30 to second start wire

87 to 12volts
